Vivo X100 Series Officially Announced: X100 Pro and X100 Pro+ Launch Time Frames Tipped

Vivo’s X100 series is said to have been officially announced according to an update from a Chinese tipster, and the launch time frames of two of the upcoming smartphones of the series have been tipped along with it.

The flagship X100 series of Vivo, as of now, will be including three smartphone devices, and of which, the X100 Pro smartphone has been tipped to launch by the end of this year itself, while the X100 Pro+ device will probably be having its launch next year, in 2024.

This update comes from the Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, and the Weibo thread mentioning it has been shared below for reference.

Recently, the specifications of the X100 Pro+ smartphone were leaked online and as per which, the device is expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm and will probably run on the Android 14 based Origin OS 4.0. It has also been reported that it will likely be coupled with an LPDDR5x RAM and a UFS 4.0 internal storage.

Other specifications of the upcoming smartphone include, a 6.78″ 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP(main)+50MP(ultrawide)+50MP(portrait)+200MP(periscope) quad camera setup, in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an IP68 rated body.

About the Vivo X100 Pro smartphone, the device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset and will sport a periscope telephoto camera at its rear. The device is suggested to feature a 50MP(main)+12MP(ultrawide)+64MP(periscope telephoto) triple rear camera setup.

Vivo’s X100 series also includes one more smartphone as mentioned above, the Vivo X100, and the smartphone may also be powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset. To add, we had previously exclusively revealed the key specifications of the X100 global variant. However, the global variant is said to have a Dimensity 8 series chipset.

Even if the launch of the devices are a little far away, as per what has been tipped, we can still expect more updates regarding the upcoming flagship smartphones in the coming days or months and with which, we’ll be able to know more about the X100 series devices.
