Vivo X100, X100 Pro, X100 Pro+ battery, charging capabilities tipped

Rumours are rife that Vivo will unveil the Vivo X100 series of smartphones in November in China. While the lineup is said to include three models, the company may only unveil the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro first. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has leaked the battery and charging capabilities of the Vivo X100 lineup.

Based on a recent Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X100 will pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W charging. On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Pro will have a 5,100mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are expected to feature the Dimensity 9300, which is expected to go official at some point this month. As mentioned above, the X100 and its Pro version are expected to launch in November in China.

As per reports, the Vivo X100 Pro+ will be announced in the first quarter of 2024. It is rumoured to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, which will debut later this month.

The new leak suggests that the X100 Pro+ will pack a 5,400mAh battery and support 100W wired charging. It is also expected to support 50W wireless charging.

Other reports have claimed that Vivo will also unveil the Vivo X Fold 3, X Fold 3 Pro, and X Flip 2 in Q1 2024. It remains to be seen whether these foldable phones and the X100 Pro+ will debut together.
